SUMMARY:The Needs of the Professional in Gozo
DESCRIPTION:The Malta Federation of Professional Associations (MFPA)\, in partnership with the Gozo Tourism Association (GTA)\, was recently awarded funds by the Ministry for Gozo NGO Assistance Scheme to carry out the project: Professionals in Gozo – What are their needs? Friday 13th July\, 2018 – 9am-12pm at Ta’ Cenc Hotel\, Sannat\, Gozo.\nGiven the impact that a professional has on the quality of life of the consumer and thus on society at large it is important to see that both the professional’s and the consumer’s needs are met through the delivery of a good quality service\, promote the wellbeing of individuals and enhance economic growth. This project\, which includes two seminars and research\, aims to look closely at the professional in Gozo and evaluate twhat issues need to be addressed.  It also aims at bringing together different professions who otherwise may not have opportunity to share experiences\, needs and concerns\, hence encouraging transdisciplinary discussion.  Are there any differences between a professional in Gozo and that in Malta? Are there different needs? Does a professional set different working practices when delivering a service in Malta rather than in Gozo? \nThe Professional and the service given are the main priority of this initiative.  However\, through this project\, MFPA will embark on a new venture\, that of collaborating with a Voluntary Organisation in Gozo.  MFPA believes that such collaboration is healthy and very important for the growth of VOs\, for them to reach their objectives and ultimately to be of service to the society and make a positive difference.  MFPA represents 17 professional organizations while GTA incorporates all sectors in the tourism industry.  Professionals working in Gozo are strongly encouraged to attend.\nBooking  at info@mfpa.org.mt / gtagozo@onvol.net\n(MFPA) 21312888/99471287\n(GTA)    21565171 \n
