SUMMARY:This Time I'm Voting
DESCRIPTION:The MEP elections are due to be held between the 23 and 26 May 2019. The European Parliament is encouraging all European citizens to participate in these elections and to exercise their democratic right and duty to elect those candidates who respond best to specific issues which are important to each individual voter. \nFor this reason\, the European Parliament has set up a non-partisan communication action titled This Time I’m Voting\, and is inviting all voters to take responsibility for their vote\, and to do so on the basis of a set of specific principles. \nThe Kamra tal-Periti\, in conjunction with the European Parliament representation in Malta\, invites you to participate in a discussion session\, where we will explore those issues which are important to the profession and matters related to the built and natural environment. The issues discussed will then be forwarded to the prospective local MEP candidates\, who will put forward their policy objectives on the issues raised by the participants. This will help each one of us to vote wisely on those issues which matter to us. \nThis event is open to periti\, students and graduates of the Faculty for the Built Environment\, as well as the general public. \nPlaces are limited\, so kindly book your place by using the registration window. \nFor further information on the European Parliament’s campaign visit www.thistimeimvoting.eu
