DESCRIPTION:A curated exhibition showcasing the finalist entries of Premju E.L. Galizia 2025 will be on display throughout the week across two locations within the Villa Bighi grounds. From Monday 20 to Thursday 24 October\, the exhibition will be set up at the entrance forecourt of Esplora\, welcoming visitors as they arrive at the centre. From Friday 24 to Saturday 25 October\, the exhibition will move to the Plaza of Villa Bighi\, forming part of the setting for the Awards presentations and ceremony. \nThe exhibition offers an accessible opportunity to engage with the ideas\, processes\, and ambitions of this year’s shortlisted works. Visitors are invited to explore the projects in their own time and reflect on the role of architecture in shaping the shared environment.

SUMMARY:Premju Galizia 2025: A Visit to the Istituto Tecnico Vincenzo Bugeja
DESCRIPTION:Designed by Emanuele Luigi Galizia towards the end of his career\, the Istituto Tecnico Vincenzo Bugeja in Santa Venera remains one of Malta’s lesser-known but most evocative institutional buildings. This guided visit begins with the Technical Museum housed within the complex\, where early twentieth-century machinery is still arranged in its original educational context. \nThe visit continues through key areas of the historic building\, including the main staircase\, decorated with Art Nouveau motifs and painted details. The evening concludes with a personal reflection on Galizia’s legacy by Robert Galea-Naudi B.Sc (Hons)\, M.Sc\, MRTPI—Galizia’s great-great-grandson—who will offer an intimate portrait of the architect’s life\, values\, and motivations.
