Draughtsperson

We are seeking a skilled Draughtsperson with 2 to 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing and modifying detailed technical drawings and plans while collaborating with engineers and architects. This role requires a high level of accuracy and proficiency in CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and produce detailed drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects.
– Modify and update technical drawings to reflect changes and feedback from project stakeholders.
– Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
– Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create, modify, and maintain technical drawings.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and regulations in all drawings.
– Keep organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
– Assist in the development of project reports and documentation.
– Participate in project meetings and provide updates on drawing progress.

Requirements:
– 2-5 years of proven experience as a Draughtsperson or in a similar role.
– Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
– Strong understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
– Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with engineers and architects.
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Relevant certification or degree in drafting, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
– Knowledge of building codes and regulations is an advantage.
