How can one design buildings with this in mind, while taking into consideration the binding requirements of Technical Document F?
What options are available to achieve this without compromising internal space and comfort?
This seminar will answer frequently asked questions vis-a-vis the application of thermal insulation to buildings to improve their energy performance and enhance their indoor climate. Different types of insulation and their characteristics will be discussed together with their costs and subsequent application. Some reference will also be given to other building elements such as glazing and the extent to which one should consider their complexity within the mild climatic conditions of Malta. Case studies will also be presented.
