The landmark judgement annulling a permit on a site in Santa Luċija has sent ripples through the profession and beyond.
While this brings welcome reprieve to our battered built environment, it also creates uncertainty within the profession which needs to be addressed.
To this end, the Council of the Kamra tal-Periti is organising a seminar in the form of a debate panel during which the various aspects of this and other recent judgements will be explored and analysed.
The panel will be composed of:
Dr Claire Bonello, lawyer specialised in planning litigation.
Perit Andre Pizzuto, president of the Kamra tal-Periti.
Perit Simone Vella Lenicker, Director of Planning and Valuations at AP Valletta, and past-president of the Kamra.
Perit Ondre Camilleri-Gaglione, CEO of Gaglione Capital.
Perit Jacques Borg-Barthet, Chair of the Permanent Committee on Planning of the Kamra and lecturer in urban design and regional development at the University of Malta, will be moderating the debate.
