The impact of the Santa Lucija judgement on architecture, planning, and property values
The landmark judgement annulling a permit on a site in Santa Luċija has sent ripples through the profession and beyond. Highlights on the Law of Easements for Periti
This lecture series, which is a collaboration between the Kamra tal-Periti and the Department of Civil Law at the University of Malta, is meant to provide an introduction to the law of easements, or servitudes, to practising Periti.
The aim of this series is to expose the salient aspects of the law of easements, in law and in practice, with particular reference to the current judicial interpretation. Attendees will be introduced to the basic tenants of this part of property law, as well as to the different sources and classifications of easements, and their distinct regulatory regime.
