About the role

The Kamra tal-Periti is looking for a motivated, versatile Communications Officer to join our small collaborative team. You will support our marketing, social media, event delivery, website and content work to strengthen the Kamra’s public profile and influence on Malta’s built environment. The role requires flexibility, initiative and comfort working from the office as well as on-site at events and projects.

Position

Part-Time Communications Officer

 

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, support, and help deliver events, seminars, workshops and on-site activities; contribute ideas and practical solutions.
• Create, publish and manage social media content across platforms.
• Post updates to the website (WordPress).
• Produce marketing materials and support broader communications initiatives.

 

Requirements

1. Educational Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Design, Marketing, Arts, Languages or a related discipline.

2. Experience

• Minimum one year in a similar role or organisation.
• Experience within organisations and/or public entities, in roles such as communications, marketing, social media or events is an asset.

3. Skills

• Proven social media management and content-creation experience.
• Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
• Event logistics knowledge and practical problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Maltese is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, organised, proactive can-do attitude and team oriented.
• Interest in the built environment, marketing and events.
• Adaptable and eager to grow.
• WordPress website design and experience with website plugins will be considered a strong asset.
