Description
The Kamra tal-Periti Valuation Standards for Accredited Valuers 2012 were largely based on the European Valuation Standards (EVS) 2009, a publication by The European Group of Valuers’ Associations, TEGoVA (www.tegova.org), and were published with the written consent of TEGOVA and the Estates Gazette. Periti are expected to follow the provisions of the Kamra tal-Periti Valuation Standards when carrying out property valuations, unless their client requires compliance with other accepted international standards.
In view of the current coronavirus pandemic, the Kamra tal-Periti has issued this Guidance Note to assist Valuers in their work at this time.
The Kamra tal-Periti has endeavoured to ensure accuracy of the contents of this Guidance Note. Nevertheless, the guidance and recommendations given should always be reviewed by the Valuer in terms of the particular case and specialist advice obtained as necessary. The Kamra tal-Periti expressly disclaims any all liability or responsibility in respect of any loss or damage suffered by any person as a result of the contents of this Guidance Note.
