DIR 08/26 | Suspension of Professional Services following publication of L.N. 305 of 2026

The Council of the Kamra tal-Periti has been informed by several Periti this morning that a new legal notice, LN 305 of 2026, amending S.L.623.06 (Avoidance of Damage to Third Parties Regulations) was brought into force today.

The Council has noted some deeply problematic aspects of the new provisions which it is currently reviewing internally with the assistance of its legal advisers.

Given the potentially serious liability implications for Periti, the Council is hereby directing Periti to suspend the filing of all requests for clearances from BCA until further notice.
